Paper Comparison - Memento Dye Ink

Today's test in the Paper Comparison was made using the same 4 stamps used in the Archival Ink test but this time paired with Tsukineko's Memento Dye Ink - in Tuxedo Black.

You can click on any of the image to supersize...which is helpful to really see the differences in the impression quality.  I was actually surprised at how vast the differences were using the dye ink.  You'll really be able to tell how easily each cardstock takes the ink and how smooth the cardstock actually is ~ especially when you look at the bold stamped images.  It's also interesting to note how different the same ink looks on the different cardstocks - some are much lighter in intensity than others.

NOTE: These photos (as are all of the photos in this Paper Comparison) are scanned and unedited - so you can see exactly how they look in person.

Have you formed an opinion yet on to which is your favorite?
Wait until tomorrow...I will share the results of a watercolored image.  You might be surprised!

  1. I have liked the way Georgia Pacific takes ink. Just wish it did not clog the cutter blade.

Thanks for sharing. Memento Tuxedo was the only black ink I had for the longest time.
